Okay, so here's Mer's from someone's from etc's version of a year recap. Read on if you must.

January

1. Did you have a new year's resolution this year?
None

2. Does it snow where you live?
In Reno there was CRAZY snow where Erin and I helped others push their cars out of snow banks then ate quesadillas at Deux.

3. Do you like hot chocolate?
Obsessively.

4. Have you ever been to times square to watch the ball drop?
No thanks. New Year's is lame.

5. How did you celebrate New Years this year?
As Mer said: With lots and lots of snow.

February

1. Who was your valentine in 2005?
None

2. What did you get your valentine?
I sent out a lotta Valentines with JLA on them.

3. What did your valentine get you?
I got me some cards!

4. When you were little, did you buy valentines for your whole class?
I still do.

March

1. Are you Irish?
Only in the fact that Guinness is my preferred brew.

2. Do you wear green on St. Patty's Day?
Yes.

3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2005?
Dressed in green and reminded the SCICON counselors not to pinch each other.

April

1. Do you like the rain?
I adore desert rain. California winter rain = pneumonia.

2. Did you play an April fool's joke on anyone this year?
Nope.

3. Do you get tons of candy on easter?
Bethers sent me a care package filled with candy treats!!! It was fantastic!

May

1. What's your favorite kind of flower?
Wild ones. Oh baby!

2. Do you like the spring?
This year was my favorite spring ever. I virtually toured CA in search for flowers! And I used to think they were so silly!

3. April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?
June Slurpees.

4. What would you think of as a spring color?
Bright Easter color, none of that pastel shit.

1. What year did you graduate from high school?
2000. I believe that was a lifetime ago! Sometimes I wish I could meet myself back in high school…

2. Did you go on any vacations last June?
I can't remember if it was June, but I went to Monterey with my folks and hung out with the Allens as well.

July

1. What did you do on the 4th of July?
The Fourth was right after my Grandpa died and that clouded over that day.

2. Did you go on any vacations during this month?
Mainly I worked in the Seismo Lab of Greatness.

August

1. Do you do anything special to end off your summer?
Besides move?

2. What was your favorite summer memory of '05?
Kate was born!

3. Do you go swimming a lot in the summer?
Tahoe fun!

4. Do you go to the beach a lot?
Not this summer, but I do enjoy it.

September

1. Did you attend school/college in '05?
I started teaching at the Coloma Outdoor Discovery School.

2. Who is/was your favorite teacher?
Mountain Ma'am Mel. Hahaha.

3. Do you like fall better than summer?
FALL = GREATEST TIME o' YEAR

1. What was your favorite halloween costume ever?
Good gravy, I could never pick just ONE! So many great costumes! I think the most in tune with creepy Halloween was Tippy Hedren.

2. What's your favorite candy?
Nerds.

3. What did you dress up like this year?
A woman from a French Masquerade.

November

1. Whose house do you usually go to for thanksgiving?
Angie's now, she's our central family unit!

2. Do you like stuffing?
Yup.

3. What are you thankful for?
Wild turkeys and gray tree skwerls.

December

1. Do you celebrate Christmas?
Yup, the Berg way.

2. Have you ever been kissed under mistletoe?
Nope.

3. What do you want this year for Christmas?
Well, I really really wanted the Calvin and Hobbes hardback volumes, but never thought I'd get them since they are so expensive. Christmas afternoon after all the presents were gone from under the tree, Ma snuck one last one from the other room! I started crying I was so happy!

4. What's the best present you ever got for Christmas?
A framed picture of Gracie wrapped in hankies from Ma/ my stove kettle, afghan, and Enya CD from Ang

5. Do you like cold weather?
It's better than the heat, but I prefer chilly mornings and toasty afternoons.
