Two things of note:

1. He was a bastard, a sonofabitch, and a selfish jerk, but one of the greatest brains America has has blown itself out. RIP H.S. Thompson. You wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

2. My pregnant sister learned that she'll be having a GIRL! Huzzah! One older brother and little sister! How perfect is that? Everyone on Pete's AND Ang's side of the family thought she was having a boy. Even Angie! All but yours truly. I was so sure of it that I sent her a postcard with only the female logo on it. Bwahaha. She didn't even nedd to go to the doctor with me around. :p
