Holy cow, how is Diaryland overly busy 10 o'clock Sunday on the west coast?? Finally. :p

I had sort of a "Beauty Afternoon" with Gina, Pogie, and Angela. It boosted my spirits a bit; plus, I'd never used a mask before. When I got home I expected to see a beautiful changed Melanie in the mirror, but I looked the same. Bleh. Yesterday I went to a lame Gem and Rock show. I drove 65 minutes, skimmed the arena for 5 miutes, sat in the parking lot and talked to 6kyle for 60 minutes, and drove back for 65 minutes. It was very exciting. Though it was nice to chat with someone who doesn't mind cartoons! My coworkers are starting to roll their eyes at me whenever I start my sentences, "So when the Justice League..."

It happens often.

The most exciting part of my life currently is the goings on in the Justice League and Freakazoid. I feel like they are a little family for me at SCICON that will uphold justice and good. Oddly enough it really comforts me, even if it is a cartoon. It's not that I'm in a "hate people" mood, I'm just not very fond of them. I'm in a happy to be a recluse mood. Like the spider, but not so venomous.
