Saw Napoleon Dynamite tonight. I really quite enjoyed it. I think I got more belly laughs than general comedies. We had a mini family emergency that required a pitcher of magaritas and comedy rentals from Hollywood Video. I think my family deals with stressful situations quite well.
Two tharted geocache attempts today, I have high hopes for tomorrow.
For the current obsession, all that goes through my head is track 5 from the Phantom soundtrack. It's weird; I bring up Phantom and other people treat it like a show or a movie. I know that's what it is, and what I should expect people to say, but it's Phantom! I've always been obsessed with the Phantom of the Opera my whole life even though I have only just seen the movie version. Since I was 8(ish), one of my life goals has been to see it live on stage. I loved the movie though, and I ached for Phantom. Movies and shows usually touch me on the superficial level. I'll cry, but that's it. The only movies that REALLY got to me involved the ocean since that's my one true love besides the tail light on Rock and McCarran years ago. PotC, Master and Commander, Whale Rider. You know, the tugging at the heart strings feeling. Phantom is the only actual PERSON that truely touched me in a film/play. Ma's affected the same way. We don't understand why everyone else isn't. It's PHANTOM we say. PHANTOM!
Though we have had a Phantom costume prepared for Halloween since 3 years ago. Now if I could meet a guy spirited enough to wear it. :p
