Here's the job description posted by the Seismo secretary for my replacement. I don't know if I'm just being picky, but I think (considering it's a big part of her job) she should brush up on her grammar and spelling.

Examine and classify seismic signals with interactive computer program. Locate seismic events using interactive computer tools. Enter data via keyboard into seismic database. Run programs, mainpulate files, access data, etc. in a UNIX computer enviroment.
